So, how often do you get frustrated with teaching your children?!? Waiting....
Ok!! I do too! I'm trying to get him prepared for school. It's all good in the hood until I ask him to sound out words. We've been working on sight words. I push him, I know I do. I just want him to excel. I give up every 4 minutes. The last attempt, a lightbulb went off in my head. I don't know why I didn't think of this to begin with. My son's room is plastered with sticky cards. Soon, I'm going to tag everything in the kitchen and living room. We're going to cross our fingers for effectiveness. I make my son write everyday. I'm trying to teach him how to press down on the pencil. Stay in the lines.
Hold it differently. Not to write so big. Legible penmanship. He prefers his dad's style of teaching. LOL I don't blame him. We're going to test out this new wave. If this doesn't work, I'll be on Pinterest. Hurry August, please...
